My elitebook 8460p won't power on, But there is a power LED on the bottom near the track pad.. continuous blinking white light mean insufficient power. I've tested the AC power cable since I have 2. No changes. Battery? No change with or without it. Ram? Just upgraded it today to a known working kit and no change CPU? again just upgraded it and no change. Did the upgrade affect it in some way or cause this? No actually this happened before the new parts came in. So that leaves the motherboard right? All I can think of is that.... Honestly this was the ONLY laptop In my household and I cannot afford a new one. Real shame too since it was working just a few days ago playing dolphin emulator of all things. Though I suppose it has been showing signs of death. It's about time I guess. Anyone know of anything I could do to potentially fix it? I've done most of the troubleshooting steps they tell you like holding down the power button with the battery out and all this random stuff but still no signs of life Sad
