A few months ago I purchased an HP ProBook 450 G6 Notebook and it performed well until recently. Whenever I power off the system, the CPU fan starts spinning rapidly even though the laptop is completely off. I've checked various fixes like BIOS updates, driver updates, adjusting power plans, and even switching to another OS, but it still doesn't shut down properly. The interior isn’t dusty. Any advice you have would be appreciated.

it depends on the situation; some laptops keep spinning the fans briefly after power off to help cool things down, but they usually stop once the battery runs low.
