My laptop chassis becomes excessively hot even when touching it, but hwinfo reports CPU and other components are within safe limits (48c-69c during games). Everything seems fine with the SSD, CPU, GPU, and RAM. I’m just concerned about the chassis itself. I don’t want it to warp or bend because of the heat.
The laptop's make and model are likely specified for efficient heat management through its chassis design.
Sorry for the delayed reply, my friend. My laptop is an ASUS model. I suspect this isn't just my problem—I saw others on this exact type having similar issues. My main concern is longevity and heat management, not raw performance. Reducing power limits to even lower levels might help with heat in both the chassis and the adapter, but it could affect performance. I can manage low performance if needed.
