I received a new Asus Vivobo S14 yesterday equipped with a Ryzen 9 AI HX370 processor. Whenever the laptop needs to enter hibernate mode (I assumed the problem was with sleep but it also happens during hibernate), it starts up in full power with all fans running and becomes warm. The keyboard stops working, and the screen turns off. The only solution to get it working again is holding the power button until it shuts down, then turning it back on. The system still runs Windows 11 as it came with. In Event Viewer I see a critical power-off event, but no further details are available. Do you have any idea what might be happening? Would a clean Windows installation help resolve this issue?

It looks like the problem might be related to enabling modern sleep features. Could you check what settings are active? If unsure, it’s best to reach out to support for guidance.
