The laptop becomes warmer after being cleaned with a duster.
The article mentions I just performed a clean on my laptop using a duster, and now in GTA V the CPU temperatures are hitting 95°C. Before cleaning, they were around 90-91°C. The games FC3, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Crysis Remastered, and Modern Warfare 2019 were running smoothly. I’m wondering what might be causing the problem with GTA V?
The system specs are: Asus TUF Dash F15 RTX 3070 - 2021 model. CPU: Inte i7 11375h quad core, 16 GB RAM.
The temperature rose to 4 degrees Celsius after the cleaning. I was wondering if you could walk us through the cleaning process, using a feather duster instead of something else?
I injected canned air through the side port of the laptop, causing the fans to spin faster. Next, I directed air into the intake ports beneath the device. Doing this a few times made GTA V run hotter on the CPU side while other components functioned normally.
did you use the air duster while the laptop was running? if so, and the air blew the fan blades backward, you might have damaged the fan.
is the fan operating properly?
i’m not sure if this will work on a laptop since the fans are small. hold a bit of paper against the fan intake under the case and check if it falls away.
not used GTA V for a long time but i did read somewhere that it was going to get some major update so maybe you should check your settings , as far as i remember i think it has an option to scan your pc build and choose what it thinks is suitable.
I use a game called satisfactory and my rig can do 144 fps but the gtx 1080 goes up to 85 so i run it at 60 and get temp 72 and the 60 fps looks ok anyway
