I own this HP 15-AB292NR from Facebook Marketplace. It was intended for spares only, but after swapping in a custom 16GB RAM kit and SSD, it started working fine. The main problem now is that the laptop won’t power on unless you completely disconnect power, remove the battery, unplug the charger, and keep the power button pressed for a minute or leave it overnight. This isn’t a motherboard issue at all; it seems to be related to the power management or a faulty component. The keyboard sections also stopped working, but that’s likely separate from the main concern.
