It stopped unexpectedly while installing Kali Linux on your hard drive. Everything worked fine until the final stage, when scripts and codes appeared on the screen before shutting down. The only message you saw was "System requested power off." Your laptop had 1.12 GB of RAM, an Intel Celeron M processor, and ATI graphics, and it was previously running Windows XP.

And you're right to check. Is everything working as expected?

It doesn't finish the setup, so I'll need to begin again.

It seems there might have been an issue. You can only try to restart the installation.

It seems like you're questioning whether the device is outdated or not supported. Would you like to explore options for upgrading or troubleshooting?

I attempted to reduce the laptop's temperature, which helped it run longer. I believe it might be shutting down due to the elevated heat level.

I took off the laptop's cover and applied a cooling pad, everything proceeded smoothly. Until I started installing the GRUB boot loader and it got stuck at "Running update-grub".
