The July update affected Andoid connectivity.
I applied the July updates last night and everything seemed fine. This morning I had to move a file to my Android phone, but neither the phone nor the tablet was found in the File Explorer or Device Manager. I searched online for troubleshooting tips without finding solutions that matched my issue. I moved files two days ago before the update without any issues, so I suspect the update caused a problem. My Logitech webcam, which is mounted on the front panel header, is working properly. However, my ASUS USB Bluetooth transponder seems to be malfunctioning. My wife’s PC, which also got the same update, recognizes my Android phone. Do you have any advice? I’m using Windows 10 version 1909.
I’m using both my Pixel phone and Android tablet. When I tried to connect my phone via Bluetooth, it didn’t work. My PC isn’t restarting or shutting down properly—sometimes I have to force a hard restart by pressing the power button. This issue started after the update last night. I fixed it by restarting both devices, which was unexpected since it hadn’t happened before. I should’ve remembered the first rule: restart and check if it resolves the problem!
