What actions should I take if I experience stuttering or frame drops in The Division 2?
Current PC specifications
Game requirements (1080p60)
Intel Xeon E3-1231
V3 versus i7-4790
16GB DDR3 versus 8GB
AMD RX Vega 64 versus AMD RX 480
THIS WILL ONLY BE EFFECTIVE IF YOUR GPU SUPPORTS DX12 AND IS SIGNIFICANTLY MORE POWERFUL THAN YOUR CPU!
My CPU would reach 100% usage at maximum settings, so this is the only solution I’ve found so far.
If your GPU performs much better than your CPU, try shifting the workload to the GPU. I did this by maximizing all settings and enabling DX12, which appears to consume about 90% of the CPU compared to 100% on DX11.
If you discover any additional tips that could help more with this problem, please share them in this thread!

you might also adjust the frame limit or boost the resolution within your GPU settings in games

I don't understand how certain individuals achieve 100% CPU usage with 4C/8T during gaming, or if this is exclusive to this particular game.

I have the same problem and don't have sound in the game:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
geforce gtx 1080
RAM: 16GB at 3333MHz
I can only get around 30 frames per second for one minute, then the game drops to 2 FPS and crashes.

This game has several problems, with many players experiencing FPS issues. I haven't even started playing. I've already saved 42GB for the Epic Game Launcher, but it keeps sending me to UPLAY and then redirects again for another 42GB as I type.

If you encounter problems with this game, refer to the troubleshooting guide at the provided link. Using a Logitech driver can cause FPS to drop to 30 or 35 when the driver is disabled, which is not ideal. The guide also suggests checking for known PC bugs related to sound on the Division 2 release.
