Hi Guys,
Please see the screenshot.
I’m experiencing issues with Minecraft on my new PC.
I followed a standard setup—Java and Minecraft Java Edition were installed, video settings and resolution were reduced, and I updated the igpu drivers to the latest Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2. However, my frame rate remains between 4-7 fps, while it reaches 15-25 fps when viewing skies.
After that, I attempted to lower the graphics version to 20.1.2, but no improvement was observed.
I tried updating Java to 64-bit and used the shortcut '-Xmx6144m -Xms256m ...' in the programs menu, yet performance didn’t change.
Optifine was also applied, but my FPS stayed around 6-10, with skies showing 27-30 fps.
I recently reset the driver to version 19.12.2, but results are still unsatisfactory.
I’m currently running DMC 5 and GTA 5 at 1920x1080 resolution with medium graphics settings, achieving stable 50fps.
Even when playing Valorant and League of Legends at very high settings, FPS remains steady.
I hope someone can assist me.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Have you tried using DDU to remove GPU drivers before every reinstall during driver updates? It's recommended to install drivers manually via an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator. Also, could you confirm where you obtained your Minecraft installer? Please check the BIOS version of your motherboard.
