I recently purchased Office 365 to replace my older version from 2007. I removed the previous software, restarted the system, and set up Office 2016 using the account linked to my 365 subscription. Everything functions properly now, but I still need Microsoft Visio Professional 2016 for my school work. I downloaded the ISO from my school’s Dreamspark account and installed it, yet when trying to open it, nothing appears. Only the "Microsoft Office Click-to-Run" service is active, and Visio isn’t accessible. I attempted to reinstall Visio, but it still doesn’t launch. I’m certain the ISO is valid and worked on my laptop before, but it seems the issue lies elsewhere. I haven’t yet installed Office 2016 on my laptop, which runs a different license. It’s possible the problem isn’t with the installation file itself. Visio operates correctly on another machine using Office 2010 Pro Plus without issues. The only running process is "Microsoft Office Click-to-Run," which prevents Visio from starting. Anyone have suggestions?

I’d rather not, though it seems fine. I just aim to use what others are using, including my teacher. That’s why I really want to fix Visio.

SmartDraw is significantly simpler to operate compared to Visio, but I agree with your approach. It’s best to align closely with the teacher’s guidance and examples. I recommend reaching out to Microsoft support, especially since you have an Office 365 account.

It seems you're likely correct. I'm hoping I can find a solution with help from Microsoft. I'll keep the thread open for now, in case anyone needs it later. Thanks!

Ok, so what I did was... Nothing. I couldn't contact Microsoft's support since they weren't open right now in Sweden. So what I did was to try to start it. Nothing happened, just some loading and then nothing. So I decided to play some games for now while I wait for M Support to open tomorrow. I've been waiting for 30-60 minutes and as I closed the game, I tried starting Visio again and volia. Somehow it's working, I don't know why or how but it is. I don't know if it needed some intense loading for a while or something but it just works. So yeah... TL;DR, try to start it once (nothing happens), wait about an hour. Try again and it worked (for me).
