Hi,
I'm experiencing memory issues while playing games, especially with the 6000 MHz EXPO1 setting. MemTest failed even with JEDEC, and now errors occur when using 6000 MHz. I've tried MemTest86+ version 7.20 and Memtest86 version 11.2, but the problem persists. My motherboard is MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi, CPU is Ryzen 7 7700. Should I rely on MemTest86+ or try formatting Windows for a test (it's my fourth attempt 😢)?
Thanks to everyone!

update BIOS for the motherboard
if memtest isn't working, it's a RAM, CPU, or compatibility issue
a fresh Windows install won't fix that

Thank you for the input! I updated the BIOS to the latest version, which includes memory compatibility improvements, though it didn’t resolve the issue. Would you like some software recommendations to help determine whether the problem lies with the CPU or motherboard? I’ve already tried single slots, JEDEC standards, 6000 MHz settings, and even swapped another RAM module (the same KF560C30BBEK2-32), but it still fails. The errors are intermittent and harder to test now.

Consider trying another kit, and later check the compatibility list on the motherboard's support page.

I haven't used the jump yet, but I updated with M-Flash and loaded default settings. I can attempt it.
This KF560C30BBEK2-32 model is in the QVL for the motherboard; I don’t have another kit to test, but I can send it to an assistance store for testing.
If there’s a compatibility issue between this kit and the motherboard, submitting a report to MSI might help resolve the problem?

I haven't tried it yet since JEDEC and EXPO1 aren't working, but I'm giving it a shot!
I changed the question to mention my CPU, Ryzen 7 7700.

Always depends on CPU, motherboard, BIOS and RAM model. Worst case would be that the motherboard or CPU is faulty. The first attempt would be swapping out the cheaper parts like RAM with a different model. Is the CPU socket of the motherboard faulty? Bent or discolored pins. Where did you plug in the RAM? Slot A2 and B2 would be preferred (2nd and 4th slot from CPU counting).

The CPU socket appears to be correct. I attempted to swap the RAM with the same model but still encountered the same issue; I didn't consider testing with another model since I don't have one. The RAM is installed on A2 and B2, and I tried using only A2 or B2 without success. Yesterday I reconnected all power cables, but it failed at 6000 while working fine at 4800, suggesting an EXPO incompatibility or a loose connection. I'll continue testing to determine if this resolves the errors under JEDEC standards and then attempt using EXPO2.
