It's really frustrating when I can't enjoy any PC multiplayer games anymore. Too many hackers mess with GTA 5, cutting me off and costing me around 10 million dollars. It feels like no matter how skilled someone is, they're always suspected of hacking. I need my money back for GTA 5—it's completely unplayable now. I understand why I used to enjoy multiplayer on PS4 before; there were no hackers and it was harder to get hacked. Paying for a monthly online subscription on consoles would make you reconsider hacking. PC multiplayer is terrible, but single-player is amazing with smooth 60fps. Sorry for the rant, but I'm not alone in this.

Hackers are bothersome in GTA V after singleplayer feels useless. In CS:GO, you had to play Cevo to avoid them. Some games like BF3/4 and others experienced occasional issues. Generally, there are ways around it, except for GTA V.

Don't face problems from hackers here. I've experienced around 10 incidents since the game launched. One person even joked about throwing snowballs at me, but still, it's not worth it. Switching servers is easy too. Hackers are part of PC gaming, but you don’t have to deal with them—just leave the server.

I haven’t seen many hackers lately—I’ve stopped playing CSGO because it’s not fun, and I prefer EA Sports, ESL, and Cevo instead.

Noted that hackers operate on consoles, and those who act as trolls will target them since they are considered disrespectful

I encountered some hackers who were mainly joking around, like spawning monkeys, and they were sharing money—about 40k per bag, which gave me roughly 640k. I also managed to buy a few cars.

they aren't hackers—they're cheaters. It's hard to believe this new term just replaces hacking with cheating. You should express your frustration to Rockstar about what you expect from a game without proper security. Online play is riddled with poor protection, and no one is safe from everyone.

Call me simple if you need it, but adding strange code to a game doesn't automatically make it a hack.

Mod developers engage in hacking, whereas players using the mod with their installation practice cheating.
