RAM isn't performing as expected at the claimed speeds. Upgrading your CPU might be necessary, though it's not certain. Your current setup includes a 3600MHz RAM, but you've also tried 3000MHz without success. Consider checking if your CPU is compatible with those speeds.

Most people on Techpowerup agree with me about my 3200 lpx. It’s nice I can reach 3800mt even with poor timing. Did I do something wrong?

Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 is paired with Ryzen 5800X and XMP enabled. There are no issues reported. This setup seems highly reliable, unlike typical problems companies face. You likely had XMP activated, and the restarts might be connected to the RAM. Try disabling XMP to check if the restarts persist.

Did you receive the two sticks together or purchased them individually? Are you connecting them to slots 2 and 4? I just saw this spec sheet for the "System Memory Specification Up to 3200MHz" — maybe you shouldn’t exceed 3200.

Thanks, it looks like everything is fitting correctly now. It seems I should probably get a new CPU after this.
