My Counter-Strike: Global Offensive consistently takes an excessively long time to launch, ranging from a minimum of four minutes to a maximum of ten minutes. The loading times are unpredictable and, on average, exceed six minutes. Occasionally, the game will freeze during loading, requiring a forceful shutdown of my laptop to proceed. Notably, this issue only manifests within Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; other games perform without difficulty.

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:
Intel Core i5-8300H
Nvidia GTX 1050
4GB DDR4 RAM
1TB Hard Disk Drive

I recently located this suggestion on the forum, courtesy of Seyed22Shaheen. He recommended investigating your hard drive; attempting to disable prefetch and superfetch through services.msc, and utilizing launch options with forcepreload 1 from Steam. Additionally, playing several informal matches on various maps before competitive play and disabling Vsync could potentially help. I've experienced a similar issue, where my initial account loads quickly but switching to a second account results in extended loading times and connection delays at the final 20 seconds of warm-up. Furthermore, consider disabling multicore rendering and adding -Nod3d9ex to your launch options. A possible solution is to alt-tab out of the game and return.

Regrettably, the game suffers from significant flaws due to poor coding practices. Despite numerous updates, its performance and loading speeds have consistently declined without any corresponding enhancements. Your computer's specifications far exceed the game’s requirements, yet numerous errors within the programming are causing problems for you.

To troubleshoot this, you can check the game’s cache consistency through its properties in Steam Library, re-install it, defragment your hard drive—or consider reinstalling your graphics card drivers, if needed.

Despite attempting everything previously, I haven't been successful yet.

I recently saw this suggestion on the forum, attributed to Seyed22Shaheen: “It could be related to your hard drive; consider disabling prefetch and superfetch in Services.msc, then enable forcepreload 1 through Steam’s launch options. Also, play several informal matches using various maps before competing, and turn off your Vsync to check for any external programs limiting your frame rate—Xbox DVR is one example. I’ve experienced a similar issue with my first account on the same computer, where load times are fast, but when I switch to a second account, it takes 20 seconds to complete the warmup. Additionally, try disabling multicore rendering and adding -Nod3d9ex to launch options… Update: there’s a temporary solution – alt-tab out of the game while it's loading and return to it during the ‘initialising world’ screen.”
