I possess a genuine copy of FIFA 4 from Steam. I'm attempting to launch the game but it frequently crashes when I click continue. My hardware is outdated yet it seems to run the game. My PC remains clean, and I haven't used any hacks. I've tried several solutions without success: removing Nahimic services, changing DNS settings, reinstalling the game, updating drivers and Windows, resetting the game, using a VPN, and performing a clean boot. The issue persists even after a clean boot worked for a day before returning the next morning. I'm unsure what's causing this problem, as my other games function normally.
Also verify your temperatures in the menu and when you attempt to click Continue. The HW monitor proves helpful for this task. Launch the game, force it to crash, navigate to the start menu, type "event viewer," open it, wait for loading, ensure Event Viewer (local) is selected, and search for Critical or Error events. Expect only a few entries. Here’s a screenshot of my setup (noted an unusual event this morning requiring a reboot, hence Critical and many Errors). Double-click any item with an event from the past hour and review the General tab for FH4 or GPU issues. If you’re overwhelmed, try restarting the game a few more times to observe persistent numbers.

I think the issue might be related to a strange driver problem with that Intel GPU. A fresh installation could be worth trying. If you have an extra storage device (like a hard drive), you might install Windows there and check if the crashes persist.
