Hello everyone, I've been facing several issues this week. Steam wouldn't open up even in the morning. I haven't made any changes and reinstalled it a few times. After that, I deleted %appdata% and %localappdata%, but the new Steam still can't be opened. It only loads when downloading files, not the app itself. My pointer shows something is loading, but I can't access the program. I've cleared all folders, uninstalled everything, tried to clear caches, but it still won't open. Reinstalling didn't help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Details about my system: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 3.6GHz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, GeForce RTX 2080 Super, MSI-Edition, MPG X570 Gaming Plus, motherboard Windows 11 (latest), BIOS 7C37vAM, Be Quiet 450W, straight power.

What storage devices are installed on your PC? Consider moving Steam to another drive or simply reinstalling it. What amount of RAM are you using? Is your processor being overclocked? Could the Windows installation be damaged? Refer to the provided guide for more details: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/vi...-F956-6292

The steam process lacks an active icon at the bottom of the bar. Adjust the screen size to make it visible again. If that doesn't work, the application is launching but no window appears, including any open apps in your bar. Proceed with a memory test, or reinstall windows as a final option.

Steam isn't visible in the lower menu. It was reinstalled on Windows a few days back.

Changing it to another drive completed the task, though I’m unsure about the reasoning. Opting for an M.2 SSD over a traditional HDD now.

It runs much slower now, taking a long time to start. Still, using a fast drive for the boot process is smart—just add more space in the Steam client and set it as the primary storage, so Steam will automatically install games on the HDD by default unless you choose otherwise.

I experienced the same problem earlier when I turned off my hard drive, and it wouldn’t launch again until a complete system reboot. It’s been resolved now, especially with an M.2 setup.
