RTX 3080 not working on main pcie line express x16 (no signal from monitor but fan and light turn on) and when i am on my igpu the gpu isnt even detected its like there is nothing plugued. The gpu works on other pcie line but only the speed is 1x 3.1 no higher thhna that. On many demanding games i have low fps and constant frame drop. I changed mobo but no prevail. my old mobo was working perfectely on my old rtx 3060ti but since Rtx 3080 neither mobo worked on the main pcie. I am desparate i bought this second sale and the seller said was working just find before. I did all the drivers/bios uptade. Resettle the gpu to many time. Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I switched the mobo but didn't resolve the issue. Have you reinstalled the OS after replacing the motherboard? Remember, if your current board matches the one listed in your specs, what BIOS version are you using for it?

Hi, thank you for the update!
Yes, I just installed Windows but everything still feels the same.
I own a B760 gaming x DDR4 Gigabyte and now use a Pro Mid B760 with Wi-Fi.
My MSI Mag 850 Gold PSU is still good after less than two years.

This instruction is unclear. Ensure signals are not connected to your motherboard's video outputs.

I connected to my motherboard to check if the GPU was recognized and to enter BIOS. The main concern was that the screen remains black with no signal.

Do you still have the 3060ti? If yes, please try that to check if it works properly. If it does, I’d think there’s an issue with the 3080. You might want to ask a friend if the 3080 functions in their setup. If the 3060ti doesn’t work on your machine and the 3080 does on another, it probably points to the CPU or RAM, since having two motherboards with faulty PCIe slots would be quite rare.

I no longer own the RTX 3080 and don’t have many friends who use PCs, especially not laptops. However, I plan to connect the RTX 3080 to another computer.
