My laptop touchpad has been behaving oddly lately. It usually works fine, but eventually it stops responding and only functions intermittently. The issue gets worse over time until I reset the device, which seems to be the only solution I've found. In the video, you can see the buttons at the top jitter when hovering over them. I have the drivers updated, but the "snap to" option isn't enabled. I thought it might be a hardware issue, but I'm not sure why it would react this way unless it was a physical problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. HELPPP.mp4

It seems like you're asking about a software issue and wondering if restarting will resolve it. Could you clarify what the laptop model or specific problem is?

I assumed it would work, but I’m not sure what solution might help.

Upgrade the driver and download it from the maker's site—it could resolve the issue
