Gaming, web surfing and some school assignments were part of my routine (monitor placed on a table, TV used for gaming, images added to profile and bio once GPU arrives). Current specs: when price drops to £425 it will be the 7800 XT model I own now, alongside an Xbox Series S. The interesting part was recalling the same choice when I bought the motherboard just two days prior, and I avoided repeating the error. My mum prefers white cases; a white motherboard board would look nicer in my home. An alternative white mat board like AORUS was £30 more but offered no extra features. I also favor MSI products since I’ve used them before and trust their quality. The cooler I have is PS120SE; while a white one seems cleaner, an all-black one looks less noticeable thanks to the RGB lighting. Questions remain about whether a metal/conductive screwdriver handle poses any shock risk—I already own one with a non-conductive grip.
It seems like this item comes with a higher price tag, especially if you were purchasing it at a lower cost. The dark appearance might also be a factor. I get why you'd prefer a white interior and case, and it's reasonable to think the design choices matter too.
The options that suit me are the features I need and solid VRM temperatures in the UK. The AM5 mobos aren’t particularly cheap. The best real choice seems to be the B650M Gaming Plus with WiFi, though it was £160 when I was purchasing components and doesn’t offer much better than the B650M-A WiFi models that include the DH3P AX, which lacks strong VRMs and a top-tier mobile chipset.
I needed an mATX setup because I already had one (205M mesh), and the D41 mesh from Jonsobo seemed to offer limited room for cable organization at the back. The gaming version also looked quite alike to the professional models.
