I recently assembled my new computer (the GPU isn’t installed yet, but the CPU includes an integrated graphics unit). It’s not powering on. I’ve verified everything: front panel headers, ATX 24-pin, EPS 8-pin, SATA power and data cable—though the latter won’t block activation—and confirmed the RAM is properly seated. The PSU emits a buzzing noise after connecting and turning it on, but pressing the power button yields no response. This suggests an issue isn’t with the power supply or its connections. All components appear new. I’ll attempt to re-seat the CPU and follow up if needed. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I’m not sure how to handle that. Please find a clear guide for reference, and don’t forget to attach the images you mentioned.

You missed connecting the front panel connectors. The case won’t work without them. I don’t have the motherboard model, so I can’t find the instructions.

I'm really sorry I messed up. It seems I'm still learning, huh? Thank you for pointing it out—it's helped a lot. The bent pin on the socket is concerning, so I appreciate your advice. I'll keep that guide in my collection. Regarding the front panel connectors and screwdrivers, it depends on the motherboard model. Let me know if you need more details! Thanks for helping sort this out.

That sounds impressive! What are you hoping to achieve with this machine?

They’re mainly typical, though you’ll still encounter some unusual cases. Make sure you’re certain before advising anyone to go after shorting them.

It looks like the design choice was likely cost-effective. The white exterior with a black interior is a common way to keep prices lower while still offering good performance.
