Details: OS: Windows 10 pro Aorus B450 pro Ryzen 3600 Sapphire RX 5700xt Nitro + 16GB Crucial Ballistix RAM DDR4 PSU Corsair 650w I recently assembled a new PC, marking my first build. I was eager to verify everything functioned properly, but I’m experiencing consistent microstutters across most games. This issue makes gameplay unpleasant and unsettling. The stutters appear even in less demanding titles like CSGO. I’ve attempted numerous fixes and am seeking advice from others who might have faced similar challenges. In the worst cases, stutters happen every 5 to 10 seconds, causing frame drops of 30 to 40 frames in games such as Cod Warzone. Using a Riva tuner, I observe a brief spike in frame timing when stutters occur—it seems the GPU is sending excessive frames that my monitor struggles to display. My 144Hz 2k monitor isn’t the problem. I’ve tested both DP and HDMI cables. What I’ve tried so far includes: reinstalling Windows, switching drivers (used DDU), optimizing Windows settings (disabling game bar, adjusting modes), muting Radeon Adrenaline settings, undervolting the GPU, changing the minimum clock speed, creating a custom resolution with CRU, toggling XMP profiles, and uninstalling games/software. There might be other factors I’ve overlooked. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

This approach doesn't work. Even with 2k, a fast refresh rate complicates performance. Do you have FreeSync?

I've tested with free sync both on and off, trying thousands of settings in the Radeon software. @JoostinOnline

Enable FreeSync and turn off V-Sync in the game. Adjust your frame rate using Riva Tuner Statistics to match the drop rate, ensuring smoother performance.

You can perform a frame rate stability check using 3DMark on Steam to detect any problems with your graphics card. However, this requires an expense.

To mimic micro stutter you just need to lower the refresh rate on your monitor. I accidentally did this once and had to figure it out because the frame rate didn’t change. Simple to check. https://www.testufo.com/refreshrate
