This appears to be the initial move I've made toward the correct path, as most folks don't grasp the stutter. I'll keep an eye on that Nvidia discussion thread in case there are updates and have already set up the standby manager with a task, waiting to see how it performs. Thank you for your support.

It's likely there are numerous reasons behind stuttering, making it difficult to identify a single cause. For me, clearing the standby after launching a game helped, as I handle this manually rather than through automated tasks. The standby problem appears to impact only a limited number of users, but hopefully it can assist with your stuttering!

This might assist, micro stuttering often stems from timing issues...

I previously turned off HPE in Windows because it appeared enabled by default, but I couldn’t find a setting in my BIOS to adjust it. Others mentioned doing the same in their BIOS, though none offered an option there.

I’m planning to give it a go with a different approach this time. A user on the Nvidia forum mentioned there’s no stutter in the 1607 version of Windows 10, so I’ll try going back to that build to check for improvements.

Consider setting up a dual boot by installing Windows 7 64 bit and checking whether the video card issues persist.

I was considering this too. I’ve dual booted KDE and GNOME before, but I haven’t tried it with Windows yet. I’ll give it a shot if I still experience stuttering in version 1607.
