Hi everyone, I'm working on fixing an iPhone 7 that's having some odd behavior. When the device is locked, the lockscreen briefly activates for a couple of seconds before shutting off again. After about 4 to 5 seconds, it repeats the same pattern. The "Raise to wake" feature is turned off, and the phone has been restarted several times, but the issue continues. Everything else seems normal—no screen problems or other issues. Thanks ahead of time!

Turn off all alerts now. It might be a faulty app sending repeated "empty" messages. This could also stem from a software glitch. A factory reset is another possibility. Don’t dismiss an operating system problem until you’ve reinstalled. Otherwise, the issue might be linked to the home button. By now, the phone is several years old, and it’s not uncommon for buttons to malfunction.
