Check the source of the issue carefully. Is the problem related to a carpet? Are the wires properly connected? Is the power outlet grounded?

Your setup might be affected by the metal from the I/O shield entering the LAN cable port. Could that be the reason?

Question it. It seems to be just contact with plastic. You could always remove the metal part and check. But I think it might be about grounding problems or the motherboard touching the case/IO shield somewhere.

I was planning to eliminate all components so I could repair the metal contacting the plastic on the motherboard, while keeping my cables updated except for the keyboard and mouse.

I attempted to strip out my extension and used psu to avr to socket, but the ground from the io shield disappeared. It seems your extension might be properly grounded. Thank you for the assistance!
