I typically rely on AWP in combat, but occasionally when the scope's crosshair lands on the target and I fire, the impact doesn't register. I'm certain I'm stationary and the distance isn't too great, so timing adjustments seem necessary. Could poor internet be slowing the bullet down or is this just my beginner level?
Verify your latency—anything over ~120 will make things tough to handle with such precise gear as the AWP
Bad internet causes delay of or shoot. If you or opponent you are shooting at is lagging you will probably miss. " target isn't far that you have to adjust the timing" Umm... CS:GO doesn't really have bullet travel time.
Online games are terrible. Just attribute it to the connection issues.
I struggle to land even a single solid shot at 70% or higher. Plus, my 60Hz screen really messed with me—definitely not comfortable.
I faced an issue yesterday. I aimed at the center mass but no hit occurred. The target remained stationary and I wasn’t registered either. My connection stayed stable, yet a few seconds later another player (not the target) shot and eliminated me. At that moment the target still didn’t move and didn’t realize I was present. I tried again briefly, but it happened just as I was being targeted, which suggests lag might be the cause.
