On the laptop, it displays your network provider with an empty profile picture, while on the PC it shows CloudFlare Warp.

It's unusual. When did you last restart your router or modem? Occasionally it makes a difference. To eliminate Windows problems, I suggest using an Ubuntu USB installation drive. This helps identify any hardware issues.

I switched off my router and modem today. I plan to start from an Ubuntu USB drive once I get a USB stick, since I don’t have one right now.

Have you added CloudFlare Warp to your device? It functions as a VPN that secures your internet connection using Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS service. If your device runs this software, consider turning it off and reattempting. Alternatively, if it isn’t installed, installing it might resolve some issues.

It seems there may be a setting within the app to turn on or off DNS redirection. In extreme cases, you could remove the app. You’re likely aware it’s a free app that can be reinstalled later if required.
