The internet connection becomes unstable and completely fails during gameplay, especially when using Ark Ascended with your friend. He frequently shares the screen while playing, but it only works for one game at a time.

It might be due to increased bandwidth usage during screen sharing, which could strain the device's driver or router, leading to overheating.

I'm not sure if using an Ethernet cable would help. Your motherboard only supports 2.5 Ethernet, while your Wi-Fi is 6E. Which one is better? Your internet speed is around 5GB, and you have pictures of your motherboard and Wi-Fi showing the issue. The problem happened today while playing X-COM 2 with your brother—anything else like watching YouTube would cause a disconnect. It's strange because we played X-COM 2 a few days ago and it worked fine. Your £1800 PC seems to have worse internet than your older £1000 PC when you gave it to your brother.
