Your internet connection has stopped working completely since last night. This isn't the first time it's been this unreliable, and even after restarting, it doesn’t come back on by itself in the morning. I’ve run some basic checks myself and found no issue with my Wi-Fi router—there’s still a connection when I connect my laptop directly to the modem. The indicator lights are also showing no signal at all, and the LED is completely off. Could this be related to your modem or the service provider? Since you're not very familiar with networking, it might help to test other devices or check if someone else in your household can access the internet.

The only thing I can say is either your modem reset didn’t work or it’s stopped functioning, or your internet service provider has failed and isn’t sending the signal for your modem to connect to the web. I’d reach out to your ISP for more details, but it seems like the problem lies with them.

It might be an outage at your ISP, but it could be anything. In my situation, a distribution box meant for my area lost its connection due to heavy storms and rain. After I reconnected it, the internet was back.

If feasible, attempt to link your device directly to the modem. If that fails, it might indicate a problem with the modem itself—though that’s a quick assumption. Alternatively, reach out to your ISP to diagnose the issue, in case it's their responsibility and you can avoid replacements. Just remember, you’ll need to wait for them to resolve the matter, which may take some time and could be frustrating.
