Hey everyone. On the Asus Maximus IV Extreme, one network card seems to be functioning properly while the other appears to be faulty. The video shows it working, but then only an orange LED flashes occasionally afterward.

It's improbable that it's inactive, as you can observe activity indicating it's functioning. Have you updated the appropriate drivers?

Your two ports connect to separate controllers—one is the Intel 82579V Gigabit Ethernet Controller and the other is the Realtek RTL8111E Gigabit Ethernet Controller. I’m not sure if both drivers are already installed.

PC shut down and I turned it back on. It showed the network for a second before disconnecting again. The orange light stayed on continuously while the yellow light kept flashing. After a couple of minutes, only the yellow light was active. I managed to connect to a message, but I couldn’t open any websites—just the yellow light kept blinking. This is really strange.

Currently the connection keeps switching on and off repeatedly. The yellow light stays on continuously. Despite showing a connected status, I’m unable to access any websites. After about two to three minutes, both lights stop working.

I installed a brand new LAN cable and only the yellow LED is lighting up, but the connection isn't working at all.
