Hey, your CPU (Intel Core™ i5-4460) began working at high speeds—95-100%—especially when playing games or using Photoshop. The whole system feels much slower now. Previously it never exceeded 40-50% usage. You've done everything right: updated Windows, cleared cache, scanned for viruses/malware, refreshed drivers, and restarted. Still nothing happens. With 12GB RAM, an i5 processor, and an RX580 chipset, your PC should handle these tasks fine. Need some guidance? Thanks!

Could verify whether you have any items in startup. If not, it seems like you've covered nearly everything but need a fresh perspective.

Review your Task Manager and arrange by CPU usage, this could provide some insight

This problem affects most PC and laptop users, including those playing Apex Legends, often causing stuttering if you're using respawns. I'm assuming similar issues occur in other games besides Apex Legends. For Photoshop, I can assist since I haven't used the Adobe software before.

It looks like the program you have running currently uses most of the CPU. When you just open Google, usage drops to about 8-10%. But once you start playing a game, it quickly consumes over 80% of the CPU.

Mostly Apex. I'll wait a few days to check for updates. Thanks.

I don't believe respawn will resolve it quickly; they need to release updates for bug fixes, which could take longer than a few days given their uncertain timeline. Over time, usage and stuttering tend to damage the game more. Edited July 14, 2021 by GorujoCY

You're facing severe stuttering and frequent crashes, especially after adjusting your video settings from high to low. There was also a notification about an "exception breakpoint" a few days ago.
