I checked Asrock's site and installed the provided drivers. The microphone still isn't detected. It's possible something changed this time, even though the drivers worked before.

If you attempt a call via Zoom, it functions correctly, but within the game it doesn’t. Can you find a method to choose the input device in the game? Also, is this Windows version identical to the one you used before the recent update?

It's just the same name with a slight variation, but the distinction is minimal.

The IoT version of Windows is a minimalized edition of a full Windows setup, lacking some features. It’s designed for older computers commonly found on industrial equipment like CNC machines. This might be why you’re having issues—do you have an extra SSD, HDD, or a 64GB USB drive available to install a fresh Windows 11 or Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC?

Previously it used IoT and functioned properly. This instance it's not IoT but still doesn't work. I've placed the headphone jack next to the regular mic jack. Now the device can pick up the microphone, but the earphone sound is missing.

wait a minute... you don't have a splitted jack but a single jack at the end of the headset? you need a combo jack hole in order to use the input and the output of the headset. last time that you said that "it worked" did you have the other microphone plugged in too? because it's impossible that if you plug in a combo jack into the microphone hole you will be able to hear and it's impossible that if you put the jack into the headphones hole you will be able to speak. you need a jack splitter to use your microphone AND the headset to hear and listen at the same time on your PC if you're not plugged in into a combo jack hole. can you share a pic of the jack you're using please?

It seems you likely connected an additional input like a webcam or extra mic, and the only solution to use this jack is swapping it with a splitter.
