Hello, I don’t understand how to set up a Mac yet. My installation for macOS Monterey on an M1 MacBook Air is taking about three hours and it seems to be progressing slowly. With 100 Mbps internet, that shouldn’t be a big problem. Do you have any suggestions or solutions?

It seems like it might have hit a roadblock. Using the cancel option and beginning fresh is a good idea. I don’t remember the exact time it took to get my M1 Air ready, but it definitely wasn’t a lengthy process.

The installation of Monterey has been a while. You should find a log window in the menu bar, letting you view all messages or just errors and progress. This might be useful.
