Today I swapped my 3700X for the 5700X on my Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming board, with the latest BIOS F63c installed. When I powered on for the first time, the screen displayed 'new cpu installed ftpm nv corrupted.' Since I hadn't enabled BitLocker, I chose the reset ftpm option. After loading into BIOS, the PC booted and set factory optimal settings before restarting. It reached the Windows 10 loading screen but kept looping for about two minutes. I restarted multiple times without any difference. Then I reset the CMOS, turned on the PC, and it loaded normally. To confirm the fix, I restarted again—this time the loading screen still took roughly two minutes before launching. When I reinstalled drivers and restarted, the issue persisted, loading took 2-3 times longer than usual. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you set up in UEFI mode? Also consider removing the CSM.

You're unsure about confirming UEFI mode installation. Your system32 reports it, but the boot process bypassed the UEFI setup and loaded directly into BIOS without showing SSD or HDD options.

Indicates you're running Legacy mode, requiring CSM. Suggests the issue might stem from the upgrade process, noting that boot drives didn't work automatically and needed reinstalling in UEFI.

I might have been able to reinstall it in UEFI if I understood the process. However, this could also slow down my Windows boot time with my current CPU. I only noticed the issue after installing the 5700X.

It seems like you're questioning the relevance of 3700X, noting it's a recent figure.

I see, the slow loading isn’t a concern for me, but if Legacy mode is the problem, would I notice it too while using the 3700X? This issue seems specific to my new CPU, even though everything else functions normally.

Makes sense... But anyway UEFI mode is just better, so no reason not to do it I did kinda same update than you, from 3900X to 5900X, and had 0 issue, it was plug and play
