The installation of Realtek drivers is not possible.
The installation of Realtek drivers is not possible.
I understand there are many similar discussions, but I haven’t found a resolution for my issue.
System details: Windows 10 Home 64bit, Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 8 cores, MOBO Asus ROG STRIX B550-F gaming PC, 16GB RAM.
I’m unable to install Realtek audio drivers and therefore can’t use speakers on my computer. I previously had the drivers installed before, but they disappeared over time. I tried updating them via the official sites and using the setup tool, but I keep encountering a blue screen during driver installation attempts.
Could anyone suggest possible alternatives or solutions? Thanks in advance!
P.S. My GPU is currently functioning properly.
there are currently two driver categories for Realtek Audio. One includes drivers along with the HD Audio manager, while the other involves downloading drivers from the motherboard website and then the manager from Microsoft Store. Refer to the discussion here: https://www.tenforums.com/sound-aud...o-...river.html. This change relates to driver updates on Intel since 2018, as detailed in their support articles. The latest versions are available at: https://www.tenforums.com/sound-audio/13...n-2-a.html. Many users feel the old method was simpler for driver updates, but now it’s more complicated.

Have you checked if there are any solutions available for the error code 0x803FB005 on the Manager in the MS Store?
Return to the device manager, open the driver properties for the active device, select Uninstall, mark the box to delete the driver software, restart if necessary, and then reinstall the driver manually.
There is no workaround and it seems unsupported as well. I receive the same result, likely because it doesn't function with the latest Windows version.
It might be better to create a fresh question so more assistance can be provided.
I usually don’t interfere with Realtek drivers after they function properly.
Sharing the motherboard model can assist in resolving the issue.
