Hey there, I tried to set up FiveM for GTA on Linux but couldn’t find the game folder. It looks like the folder isn’t visible. Can you help me figure this out? (From the screenshot, the left side shows Epic Games and it’s there, but the right side doesn’t show FiveM) Thanks!

You might be mixing up two different wine configurations. A prefix acts as a folder where settings for each program are saved, allowing tools like Steam to apply fixes without affecting other applications. Think of it as a basic virtual environment for every game. The "C:" path could belong to one prefix, while another handles the other. The best approach is to identify the prefix used for GTA and reuse it for FiveM.

FiveM doesn't function properly with DXVK because of ID3D11Device::OpenSharedResource. Patches have been combined to improve Wine support, but DirectX translation layers like DXVK still can't handle this feature due to missing capabilities in Wine. https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/issues/899 The same applies to Alt:V and Rage.MP. When both C Drives display varying content, it's due to differing Wine prefixes. It's recommended to run the application using the same Wine prefix. Lutris offers a way in the side panel, Steam can use protontricks, or you can export the prefix manually before starting wine.
