I'm trying to install Windows 8 on my PC using a pendrive, but when I attempt to enter the Windows key, it displays an error saying "Cannot verify product key, please check your installation media." I know the key and OS are genuine. Perhaps I tried to find a workaround by adding an ei.cfg file to my sources folder, but that didn't resolve the issue. Could you assist me? Thank you.
If the windows version comes as an .ISO file, you can utilize the Windows USB creation utility to mount the image onto your flash drive. Restart the computer, choose the drive, and start booting from it. The installation will walk you through the setup and prompt you to register once completed.
