During a recent long weekend, I assembled my initial desktop PC, but it’s currently exhibiting an issue—no display output. Despite the cooling fans operating and indicator lights illuminating, a visual signal remains absent. I’ve attempted to reinstall the graphics card twice and refreshed the memory modules, also experimenting with both the motherboard’s HDMI port and the graphics card’s HDMI output. I've also swapped monitors and HDMI cables, yet the problem persists.

Components:
Aorus Z370 Ultra Gaming Wifi Motherboard
Intel i-5 8400
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
Vengeance RAM Sticks
Samsung 960 m.2 SSD
750W PSU

Any assistance would be greatly welcomed!

If troubleshooting fails, attempt a test with your graphics card absent and using just one RAM stick, ensuring it’s firmly seated—sometimes a bit of pressure is needed—and verifying that both the 24-pin and 8-pin power connectors are securely attached to the motherboard. If problems persist, consider running diagnostics outside of the computer case.

I recently assembled my initial desktop computer, but it’s exhibiting a problem: the display isn't showing any output. The cooling fans are operational, and the indicator lights are illuminated, yet there’s no visual response. I've attempted to reinstall my graphics card twice and refreshed the memory modules, experimenting with both the motherboard’s HDMI port and the GPU’s HDMI connection. I've also swapped monitors and HDMI cables, with no success.

My system specifications are as follows:
* Motherboard: Aorus Z370 Ultra Gaming Wifi
* Processor: Intel i-5 8400
* Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
* Memory: Vengeance RAM sticks
* Storage: Samsung 960 m.2 SSD
* Power Supply Unit: 750W

I'd appreciate any assistance you can offer. Could you please describe whether your mouse and keyboard activate when the computer initiates its startup sequence – do they function, or remain inactive? If not, consider inspecting the processor pins for any bends and if possible try a different power supply.

It might be helpful to attempt removing the RAM modules and utilizing an eraser to briefly discharge any residual electrical current while powering on with the memory installed. Afterward, turn off the PC and reinstall the RAM as a further troubleshooting step.

The computer’s keys and pointing device activate. I initiated it without the graphics card installed, and a message appeared reading “Invalid partition table.”

The computer’s keyboard and mouse illuminate. Initiated with the graphics card absent, it now shows “Invalid partition table.” Consider reinstalling Windows.

It might not be necessary. Regarding your graphics card, experiment with various PCIe slots, verify that the PCIe power cables are securely attached to the card, and connect your monitor directly to it—not to the motherboard—once the card is installed. If this still doesn't work, you could consider returning it for a replacement.
