During the maintenance, I spotted that one of the VRM inductors is misaligned. It seems like a defect because I haven’t handled that component before. I’ve been using the motherboard (Asus Prime Z370-A) since August 2017, and in 2020, I replaced the CPU with an i7 9700k, which is the model I currently have. Is this something to be concerned about? Or could it just be my tendency to notice things? Here are some photos.

The motherboard seems to be working properly. Factory misalignment is common, and as long as parts touch where required, it usually just looks bothersome.

It has functioned well since 2017, so I question whether problems will arise now if it hasn't started yet.
