I recently added a second vertical monitor, a budget Amazon model, to pair with my Optix G32C4W. At first, when I booted up the vertical one it was set as the main display, so I changed the Optix to primary and rearranged all my icons. Now whenever I power on my PC, some icons remain in their preferred spots while others appear randomly at the bottom. The images shown are the setup I want for the icons and how they appear during startup.

Right-click the desktop and verify if "Alight Icons to Grid" is selected. Adjust the alignment as needed, then deselect it.
