Hey, I noticed the CPU can drop as low as 1.404V. Should I lower the voltage? Also, with DeepCool 240 AIO, temperatures sometimes reach 81°C during games.

The values are estimated based on typical performance ranges. Minimum, maximum, and average VR VOUT are likely to fall within those bounds under normal conditions.

the cpu usually works fine at around 1.3v for single core turbo speed, so 1.4v seems too high. intel boards often overvolt by default, which is why undervolting is suggested. if you're using a z board, set single core multi to all cores for better performance and allow a static voltage. you can also increase bclk to 103 for a small speed boost, though that's not necessary. 1.3v should suffice; you might be able to lower it further if you're not using a z board. without a z board, locking single core multi will hurt performance, possibly due to dynamic voltage adjustments—try -0.05 or -0.1 if applicable.

It provides a more precise reading of the actual Vcore. Typically, voltage appears higher when idle or at low usage, then decreases with real load. I suggest using hwinfo64 instead of hwmonitor since it includes more sensors and offers better accuracy.

A few days before installing the new 240 AIO cooler, I switch the thermal paste. When I install this cooler, I don’t clean the CPU’s thermal paste because it was a lot from the previous time when I unplugged the stock cooler. I just put the cooler in with the old paste, hoping it won’t cause any issues. Also, sorry for my unclear English—it wasn’t my main language.

I’d make sure to remove everything carefully and use a new paste if it’s been more than a few hours.

Bclk combined with CPU boost reaches around 4.7GHz and 4.84GHz. This offers a bit more speed, though you can still reduce power use and heat thanks to possible overclocking.
