The laptop should not freeze or trigger a BSOD. If it does, a restart might be necessary. Speed Shift is an option provided by the BIOS but hasn’t been activated yet. It was introduced with Intel’s 6th generation processors and is especially suited for laptops. Some brands like Dell were initially unsure about enabling it. It’s safe to turn it on, as Speed Shift was originally created by Intel and later improved. Windows 11 may not recognize it unless BIOS enabled it, which can cause issues. Newer Intel CPUs automatically enable Speed Shift. Any actions in ThrottleStop can be reversed by restarting. If you make mistakes, simply reboot and clear the ThrottleStop configuration. All settings are stored in a file outside the BIOS or Windows registry.

But aside from that, is this really necessary? https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-disable-vbs I’m not sure I’ll succeed. Before, when I needed something and the laptop worked fine, I ended up causing problems and felt a headache. I’m still curious why everyone here thinks it’s important to lower the temperatures just a bit, especially since most of us are just trying to keep things running smoothly.

The FIVR image you shared indicates you're prepared to proceed. Input a lower voltage into the FIVR window, click Apply, and you should notice the value displayed in the monitoring table. If the table still shows +0.0000 in the Offset column after applying or confirming, capture a screenshot of that state.

Don't worry about disabling Windows core isolation memory integrity. I'll try it tomorrow because my chronic condition (insomnia) is really affecting me. I hope I'll be more rested then and feel ready to take this step. For me, it seems like nuclear science, but I'm just afraid I might make a mistake when the laptop is already working fine. You gave me clear instructions, and I appreciate your time and effort.

It seems the temperature during your session was around 80-90 °C without UV exposure, which appears typical.
