I observed the CPU reaching up to 1.29V during gameplay, isn't that a bit excessive for such a CPU? I noticed others achieving 4.6ghz with 1.3V... Can I adjust this to achieve cooler temperatures on a B150 board? If possible, what should be the target value? I also have a stock Intel cooler and it maintains around 70-80°C while gaming, but I'd like it to run cooler.

It seems the voltage can't be altered since the board isn't overclocked and the CPU is stable.

I observed this CPU reaching up to 1.29V during gameplay, isn't that quite high for such a chip? I noticed some users achieving overclocks at 4.6GHz with only 1.3V... Can I adjust it to lower the temperatures on a B150 board? If possible, what should be the target voltage? I currently have a stock Intel cooler that keeps me around 70-80°C while gaming, but I'd prefer something cooler. Different CPUs can vary in their voltage needs, and the i7 6500 is a more advanced model than many others. As long as temperatures are acceptable, I wouldn't mind worrying about it.

I’d prefer a cooler with a better cooling system, such as one using cryogenics, to achieve lower temperatures.
