Hi everyone, I own a Lenovo Legion tower 7 from 2020 with an i7-10700K and 3070. I haven't tested its performance using benchmarking tools before. Yesterday I switched the default watercooling to a Thermalright fan since it was making noise. Then I decided to run an AIDA64 CPU stress test to check everything. Surprisingly, the CPU stayed around 50°C and consumed about 60-70 watts. According to HWinfo, my PL1 is at 150W, so it isn't throttling for power or temperature. Right after the test, the clock speed dropped from 3.8 GHz when idle to about 3.2 GHz. After downloading the Intel XTU driver, I noticed that even in idle mode, the EDP was always throttling. I'm not sure if this is related to the lower clock speed. Also, my power plan was already set to high performance. Please help me! P.S. The system was already using the high-performance power setting.
