It appears the same problem is recurring when I began tracking CPU usage in Call of Duty. On a 64-player server, the CPU is consistently at 92% on the EVGA GTX970 SC ACX2.0, which functions properly with 100% usage and Vsync off, achieving around 140 FPS and averaging 130 FPS. Temperatures remain much more manageable after I stopped BCLK overclocking, though usage levels haven’t changed significantly before or after that adjustment. The CPU stays under 30°C at full load without overclocking, and I recently updated the BIOS back to the non-overclocking setting to test its impact—no changes were observed. I’ve tried all the solutions mentioned in a previous thread about this issue in Call of Duty Black Ops 3, but nothing has improved. Now there are no frame drops or lag spikes even during intense scenarios with multiple players firing and grenades in action.

So, is there anything I should worry about?

If yes, what would be the best CPU upgrade path, considering I’m using AIO liquid cooling and planning to get a GTX 1080 later this year? I’m not sure how far ahead it will be, but it will be soon.

When Vsync is disabled on a GPU, it should operate at 100% performance.

When Vsync is disabled on a GPU, it should operate at full performance. This seems unusual since I can restart it and still face issues. There might be a method to save the MSI data for sharing.

I was mistaken about the usage, it's at 100% and the two drops appear when I died.
Nice Disturbed Pic BTW

GPU usage is at maximum.
I realize now I might have misunderstood initially, so I'll update the post.

turkey3_scratch :
To answer your original question, I'd say you have nothing to be concerned about.
Okay thanks! So no need to upgrade the CPU for the time being? Until i upgrade the GPU later on this year?
