Hey everyone, I'm trying to overclock my i5 4670k to 4.0 GHz. It's strange how the memory's NB frequency jumps from 798.1 MHz with default settings to 3391.9 MHz right after setting the CPU multiplier to 40x. That doesn't seem right.

I checked the BIOS profile for XMP and my same CPU is set to 4.2.

Nitinvaid20 shared his experience about overclocking an i5 4670k and noticed unusual changes in memory frequency settings. He observed a significant drop from 798.1 MHz to 3391.9 MHz when adjusting the CPU multiplier, which he found unexpected. He also mentioned checking the BIOS profile for XMP and confirmed that the memory voltage is affected, while the multiplier remains set automatically.
