The i5-13600KF can't be overclocked anymore due to the new RAM. Why?
I've been testing my I5-13600KF at 5.6ghz with a .020V boost for the past 4-5 months. It's running smoothly on an Asus Z790 TUF Gaming with two 8GB 5200MHz XPG RAM sticks. I didn't attempt further overclocking, just aiming to push it later. Temperatures stayed normal, and the system didn't crash. Recently, I replaced my 16GB DDR5 RAM with Corsair Vengeance 32GB at 6000MHz, but the PC wouldn't boot. After resetting the CMOS and using the OEM 5.1ghz setting, everything works fine now. I think the higher RAM speed might be affecting stability, possibly causing voltage or compatibility issues. Trying different voltages didn't help much, and even adjusting RAM speeds didn't resolve the problem. It seems the combination of RAM and CPU speed is limiting performance, and I'm stuck with this setup. What should I do next?
