I needed to verify, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to rest this night. Do you think the router is set up for the whole area, or is it region-locked? Have you tried using the SIM on another device, such as your phone?

Besides a basic switch cleaner, you might consider swapping it out. A firmware upgrade could also be an option before purchasing a new one.

Checked compatibility with your provider's bands and network type. The Amazon listing notes it doesn't function on a CDMA network. It also provides the bands that operate in the US.
