Product: HP ZBook Power 15.6 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC (33D87AV) Running Microsoft Windows 11. Recently, my laptop began shutting down unexpectedly. It functions normally during the first boot but stops after roughly 30 minutes of use, then restarts on its own before eventually shutting down again if left idle. I've performed all hardware checks via BIOS and run HP diagnostics, both confirming everything is fine. I've reset the PC to factory settings, yet the problem persists. The backlid shows minimal dust, and I've cleaned any accumulated dust from vents and heat pipes over the past 1.5 years of use. Despite these efforts, the laptop remains unusable. I noticed in the original post that the Event Viewer displays error codes 7000 and 7009 when it unexpectedly shuts down. I'm unsure if this information will be useful, but I'm hoping for any advice or solutions.

I'm not sure what the error code means, but I don't understand its connection. Let me check the details. https://www.manageengine.com/products/ev...~:text=The Service Control Manager (SCM,the service failed while starting.

So reviewing code 7009 also helps, this situation occurs when a service fails to respond within the set timeout (the default is 30 seconds). It suggests a possible issue with Windows key services that may cause the system to crash. This makes sense since checking Task Manager shows any related tasks shutting down your computer. I advise clearing the Windows installation from the SSD and starting fresh using a USB drive.

Yeah under the error 7009 it says "A timeout was reached (45000 milliseconds) while waiting for the igcc service to connect". The IGCC is the Intel Graphics Command Center. I have also tried to reinstall windows but it has not solved the issue. Is this a hardware issue, I have tried HP support but they were not helpful and there aren't any HP approved service centres in my city (atleast for conusmer products), and I don't really want to take it to a third-party repair shop as the laptop is still under warranty.
