I'm trying to add a channel on sling tv. When I pick my main service, that's all it shows me. I can't change the main service or buy more stuff or finish buying things because the buttons stop working. I tried it in different browsers and got the same result. I couldn't find any other reason for this problem, so I turned off the hosts file temporarily and the website started working again. How would I figure out which line on my hosts file is causing trouble without turning off the hosts file? Thanks

Use NotePad to open and check the hosts file at this link: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/edit-ho...indows-10/ You can find other similar links here. Comment out ( # ) each line one by one until Sling TV starts working again on your site. Tell people to save a copy of the Hosts file before trying anything else. Print it out so you have something to mark up and see what changes are made. If the problem doesn't show up soon, call Sling TV for help with your subscription. Feel free to share a copy of your Hosts file. Someone might find another issue or glitch in there.

Ask yourself to save a backup before trying anything else. Print a copy as a reference so you can see what's changing. If it doesn't fix itself, call Sling TV help with your subscription. Feel free to paste the hosts file here. Someone might find another problem or issue in there.

If you have too many items in the hosts file, you might be doing something weird with your ad blocker or messing up your internet. Ask where you got that file from instead.

Why do you still need to use the hosts file?
